How did you hear about this crusade, and why did you decide to participate?
I first came to know about it through YouTube. I had already heard about this ministry some time ago, but at that time I also heard that churches were suspicious of him, so I wasn’t very interested. Later, when I saw this young man ministering, I asked myself, “Who is this?” So I looked up videos of his preaching and testimonies, and I realized they were so evangelical. I came to believe that the work of the Holy Spirit in casting out demons is the true work of God. From then on, I began to follow this ministry with much interest.

What did God speak to your heart when Evangelist Hyeok began to preach?
Actually, I had already watched all of his preaching shorts before this crusade. But when I heard the full message this time, the conclusion was clear: Jesus is King. That was the main point that struck me deeply.

Did you receive prayer?
Yes, I received prayer.

When Evangelist Hyeok prayed for you, God must have done something in your life. What happened, and what was your experience?
In fact, the reason I attended this meeting was because of my mother. I thought that if she could be healed, then I myself could also break through. But my mom was not a Christian. I had taken her to church and even made her read the Bible, but it never lasted long because the Holy Spirit was not in her.
I tried in my own strength, but I realized it was beyond me. I surrendered all my desires and prayed for one month for her salvation. The very first time she went to church, Covid began, and all my efforts ended in failure. Later, when I came to know Evangelist Hyeok, I thought that my mother needed a powerful event like this crusade. So I held her hand and brought her here.

My mother has one finger that is bent. I asked her, “Mom, will you believe in Jesus if your finger is healed?” She said yes. But when she saw Evangelist Hyeok praying for the crowd, she thought everyone was crazy and said it was mass psychology. I couldn’t pray freely beside her, but I kept focusing and praying, saying, “Jesus is King. Lord, I surrender everything. You are my King.” Then suddenly, while I was praying, my mother struck me and began to cry uncontrollably. My mother, who had been so stubborn and closed to Jesus, was now weeping and weeping. At that moment, a breakthrough also came to me. I prayed and cried together with her.

Later, when Evangelist Hyeok came to pray individually, I told my mom, “Let’s receive prayer for your finger.” But she said it didn’t matter. She only came to observe. The finger wasn’t the real issue anymore—what mattered was that the Holy Spirit had touched her. Even before the Evangelist laid hands on her, she had already encountered God. When he placed his hand on her head, she broke down in tears again, and the Holy Spirit entered her life. From that moment, my torment disappeared. The burdens I carried for years were lifted. For three long years I had been tormented inwardly, even while my ministry and responsibilities kept increasing outwardly. But nothing could remove that torment—until this crusade.

Through this meeting, my first love for Jesus was restored. The spirit of torment left me. Now I have a hunger to read the Word, to pray, and to worship again. These things are no longer duties or burdens, they are my joy. I am deeply thankful that such a change has taken place in me. And my mother is happy too, because she also received healing in her soul.

After this crusade and after the prayer of Evangelist Hyeok, what has changed in your life?
My first love has been restored. My entire attitude toward prayer, worship, and reading the Word has completely changed. Before, I was tired and burdened, and I only did these things as a form of brief comfort, without true love for the Lord. But now everything has been renewed. The spirit of torment has been broken, and my heart is free. My mother is also happy, because she received healing. Truly, everything has changed.
